Media Team Lead

Position Summary:
The Media Team Lead will be responsible for providing an excellent media experience for Shiloh church members and visitors so they keep coming back. The Team Lead must have a heart to use media to spread the message of Jesus Christ and equip others for media ministry. The ability to lead and follow is critical. This position will lead audio and video productions of Shiloh Church including live services, live streaming, recording, and on-demand playback as well as audio visual archival. This position will manage some aspects of web-based / social platform communication and will also oversee volunteers when needed. This position reports to the Ministry Pastor.

General Job Responsibilities and Duties:
● Carry out the vision and mission for the Media Ministry set forth by the Senior Pastors
● Lead all technical production for worship services and events at Shiloh Church including audio, video, media, lighting, etc.
● Attend Shiloh Church Worship Department creative, planning, staff and volunteer meetings as assigned
● Assist in planning, execution of services and special events as assigned
● Recruit, train and schedule volunteers who have a heart for media
● Serve as on-call technical lead for all church events
● Support online publication as assigned (website, social media, etc.) Multimedia/ Video Production
● Manage all live streaming of Shiloh worship services and other church events
● Create weekly video announcements and videos
● Manage the recording, editing, posting of recorded service / event content
● Maintain current video media on all internet sites and develop and maintain an archive Equipment Manager
● Ensure that audio visual equipment in the entire facility is maintained, engaging vendors and collaborating with staff as needed
● Diagnose and resolve media system problems during services and events
● Supervise installation of all lighting and video production equipment
● Train staff and volunteers on classroom A/V equipment when necessary

Skills Required:
● Experience with Propresenter, MediaShout and/or EasyWorship or similar
● Experience with video mixing and production
● Working knowledge of all required gear/equipment for live video production (comfortable with Telecom systems)
● Knowledge and experience with lighting consoles
● Familiar with Apple Computer OS and software
● Ability to operate camera equipment in live and post production
● Great communication skills

Education and Experience:
A degree in Video Communications or a related field and 1-3 years of production and management experience is preferred. The successful individual must have a proven track record of effective judgment, and above reproach character. This position requires someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a multi- ethnic, urban environment with an understanding of the dynamics of this culture.
